Solo performance
Buskerud Kunstssenter at Blender Agency, Oslo, Norway
Oslo Art Weekend
From One Form to Another is a site-specific performance by Lieu Le, presented during Oslo Art Weekend in collaboration with Buskerud Kunstsenter and Blender Agency. The work draws from the textile history of Akerselva and explores transformation, belonging, and embodied memory through textile, movement, and natural dyeing.
At the centre of the performance is a 10 metre long Áo Dài, the traditional Vietnamese national costume, made from cotton as a connection between Vietnamese cultural heritage and the history of cotton production along Akerselva. Throughout the performance, the costume gradually transforms from white and naturally coloured textiles into yellow, reflecting change, energy, and belonging.
